Dear Guru's,
I am trying to write a shell script in which the desired output
should look like this :-
-----------------------------------------------------
$ echo $SCRATCH
$ /scratch/hadron
-------------------------------------------------------
Here hadron is one of the user. He is trying to see the output of the
command ' echo $SCRATCH ' in his own area. For another user, say kirti,
for him the output looks like in his own area :-
----------------------------------
$ echo $SCRATCH
$ /scratch/kirti
------------------------------------
Similarly, for the rest of the user in his own area . Certainly, I
have to define the syntax in '/etc/profile'. But, I don't know how to
define it ? The operating system is Solaris 8.Please help me.
With Regards,
Manoj Jha
