We have a Solaris 8 box which is NFS mounting some partitions from a
Solaris 2.6 box (it has two NICs on two separate subnets).Until two days ago
this was working fine. We had an outage on the network connecting these two
boxes and so we unmounted the NFS partitions until the network was fixed.
Now when we try to connect to one interface on the Solaris 2.6 box is gets
an error:
NFS fsinfo failed for server magic: error 5 (RPC: Timed out)
nfs mount: mount: /app/arbor/saturn/usage/iusage/ready: Connection timed out
I can mount the partitions using the other interface and can mount
partitions from other machines on the same subnet.
Any ideas what's caused this and what a likely fix?
