I wish to run an xterm on the XServer with an IP Address like
156.76.51.23:0.0 (example)
this runs curretly regardless of what my display variable is set to my
problem is the
place I can enter the Unix Cmd line only supports 50 Characters so I lose
the end of any
commands is thier any way like you do with /etc/host to have a name for this
Xserver so
I could just enter as a character like 'A' and I could run the command

        xterm -display A <etc>

currently using

xterm -display 156.76.51.23:0.0 etc (lose last few
characters of command)

If anyone has tried this could they drop me a line would be appreciated.

Cheers
Ewen Lewis
