Dear Admins,

I have a SUN Blade 100. I put a SCSI Card in one of the PCI Slots.
Is is a Tekram DC390 PC Card. The Card is working perfectly in a PC.
But in the Blade it will not function properly.

Let's start with the OBP. Attached DEC SCSI Harddisk.

> ok probe-escsi-all
> /pci@1f,0/pci@5/scsi@2
> Target 4
> Unit 0 Disk DEC RZ29B (C)DEC0016
> ok

So far so good.

Next good message ( Solaris 9 ) knows about the card.

> PCI-device: pci@5, pci_pci0
> pci_pci0 is /pci@1f,0/pci@5
> /pci@1f,0/pci@5/scsi@2 (glm0):
> Rev. 3 Symbios 53c875 found.
> PCI-device: scsi@2, glm0
> glm0 is /pci@1f,0/pci@5/scsi@2

The Problem is, that the Disk is not available ! :-(
Even after a reboot with option -rv.
cfgadm -a tells me:

Ap_Id Type Receptacle Occupant Condition
c0 scsi-bus connected configured unknown
c0::dsk/c0t0d0 disk connected configured unknown
c0::dsk/c0t1d0 CD-ROM connected configured unknown
c0::dsk/c0t2d0 disk connected configured unknown
c1 scsi-bus connected unconfigured unknown
......
There is no disk avaliable for c1 ( is glm0 ).

Does anybody had the same problem before ?

Are there any debugging hints ?

Thanx !

- Gerd
