eda licensing problem

Hi All,

Ours is a vlsi company wherin i am working as a cad administrator.
handling installtions of various eda tools and handlling the licensing
aspect.

Whenever we install licenses we install it as a normal user and not as
root,
as usually you are given a warning saying lmgrd should not be run as
root.

or the license file entry is done in the startup file under
/etc/rc2.d.

Now in both the cases , there is a problem .
Any user can actually lmdown or lmreread or start a licenses.

How do i avoid this .
Please help.
