Folks,
I configured the printer on another Sun box
(Solaris 5.8, E420R) and everything went fine.
A diagnostics on the E420R showed:
Sending a test file to value01 ...
Result: The file has been successfully sent to value01. Check output!
So, the problem must reside on the original server (SF-3800, Solaris 5.8)
that I configured it on. This printer is the only printer that has given me
this
type of trouble.
Where is the configuration file that can be compared to see what are
the differences in both systems?
I was digging around in the /etc/lp/printers/value01 directory
but didn't find anything of significance.
