Dear Sun Managers,
I've an SF 4800 with a gigabit ethernet card connected
to Cisco switch (Castalyst 6000). When I set the
GE card to auto-negotiation, this network link is
fine.
However, due to my Network Backup s/w required me
to set my GE card to 1000 Full duplex. Once I used
the ndd command to set the GE card to 1000 Full
duplex,
the network link immediately goes down. I've verified
with my network card that my default the Cisco switch
is set it to 1000 full duplex.
Have anymore out there encounter such problem before?
Is this a compatibility issue? Any workaround for
this?
