Hi,
I have the following problem, I am trying to jumpstart a Blade 150 that has
an on-board graphics card and also an extra XVR-500, which I want to use. I
connected the TFT to the XVR and I get an OBP. I patched the jumpstart server
(hardware 2-02) with the two patches for the XVR-500 and tried to jumpstart
the Blade. It boors okay but when I get to "starting openwindows" it just
hangs.
Just trying to jumpstart the Blade with an unpatched 2-02 image gives me the
error that there is no driver for the framebuffer and puts me into an
interactive install, after I patched the jumpstart image at least that
message went away.
I have recopied the 2-02 disk to the jumpstart server and patched it with
just 109888-16 (from the XVR-500 cd) and 108576-32 but still it hangs when
starting openwindows.
I will probably be able to do an interactive install in console mode but I am
getting more of these systems and need to be able to jumpstart them.
