A1000 Diff-SCSI card on 33Mhz or 66Mhz slot

We have picked up a refurnished 12x36Gb A1000 arrry for our E250 with a
diff-scsi card (X6541A) with Solaris 8 (RM6.221). We are having several
problems which we are not 100% sure of the source.

First of all, can someone tell me if the diff-scsi card will work in a 33Mhz
or 66Mhz PCI slot? The E250 only has one free 66MHz slot so we would have
to perform some shuffling if the card only works in 33Mhz mode. According
to the docs it will work in both but when tried it in the 66Mhz slot,
probe-scsi-all did not see the A1000. As we could not mess around too much
with the E250, we moved the A1000 to a U60 on it's 33Mhz slot. While it is
recognized we are still encountering errors.

I have added all the patches and updated the A1000 firmware to the latest
version. I created 11x36G LUN with 1 hot spare without too much difficulty.

Should I power up/down the A1000 after updating the firmware? I did not see
any docs which state this is necessary.

Is anyone running a A1000 without a terminator? Our vendor screwed up and
we will not get the SUN terminator for at least 1 week. We sourced one from
someone else but I'm not convinced it is the proper one for an A1000. If I
remember correctly, the resistance (ohm) on terminators have to be perfect
to get error free SCSI communication.

Running "drivutil -i cXtXd0" shows that all disks fine but the following
showed up in /var/adm/messages during the RAID volume built.
