I have a Netra 20 with Solaris 8 and Session Server 1.3 (to provide
displays to 10 Sun rays) installed. This server is to be added to a
network which contains PC's with Windows 2000 and Citrix MetraFrame
installed. Two of the PC's will be Active Directory Servers.
I have been asked to look for a way to have each user's account
info synchronized between the Solaris computer and the Active Directory
on the PC's.
I have read the documentation from Sun's Web site on PC Net Link
and that does not seem like a candidate.
I have also read the documentation on iPlanet Meta-Directory and it
may be a candidate to do this.
Any information on the feasibility of using iPlanet Meta-directory
(or any other method) to maintain user accounts between Solaris and
Active Directory on a Windows 2000 computer with Active Directory would
be greatly appreciated.
