Solaris 7: Almost all processes/daemons seem to vanish

Hi Managers,

strange problem here: Solaris 7 with -22 KJP-Cluster installed; running
Veritas Cluster Server 1.3 and Legato Networker 6.1.2. Now, for the third
time in 5 weeks, strange things happened:
- after the backup admins did "something" on the networker server like
stopping a savegrp etc, the maschine seemed to crash, no remote loging
possible, no ssh, but ping'able.
- check on console via terminalserver: only 16 processes are running,
almost all daemons (legato, cluster, inetd, syslogd etc) are gone; I try to
start sshd again, no problem!
- No error messages in the places I could think of (syslogd,
cluster-log, legato daemon log)
- I haven't checked them all but it seems that If I wanted to I could
restart all the missing daemons/processes without an error!?

After a time I panic the system for a crash dump and reboot. Haven't opened
a call with SUN yet - anybody else experienced something like this or may be
able to point to a direction!?

Cheers,
Mat.
