Problem with ufsrestore on multi volume/multi tape backup

I have a backup which is split across two tapes.
There are approx 9 ufsdumps on these tapes.

I need to restore files from the session which is split across
the two tapes.

I wound forward to the session i needed on the first tape,
and did an interactive ufsrestore. I have tried using 1 and 2
as the volume number when prompted, but I get errors
saying xxxxxxx: not found on volume.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
