Short and sweet, my 250mhz processor with 512MB of memory would be fine to
run either Sun's DHCP or ISC's dhcp server. I actually took one of my
current development systems and got the server up and runningj. I tested
with 2 laptops and the server off on it's own network. It worked fine,
except for logging info - connections, address, etc. Need to research that a
little more. If anyone has any good 411 on this, it would be appreciated. I
used Solaris 8 and Sun's dhcp.
