External IP

Hi All,

I know this is quite a stupid question, but I could not find it in the faq.

Can anybody tell me the command to find the external IP of a Sun box. We use
ifconfig -a which is really neat as far as internal IP's are concerned - but
what about the same sort of output for the external IP's. Also I do not have
access to install any new software on the sun boxes, they are client owned
so u see.
