Hi List,
I have installed a minimum OS on a sparc 20 (Solaris 8) (see below for
pkginfo)
I have ran TITAN 4.0 BETA6 with the Sample.Firewall configuration
file....
I now can't mount an external cdrom:
# mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/dsk/c0t6d0s0 /cdrom
mount: /dev/dsk/c0t6d0s0 no such device
(truss & lsof are on this machine to assist prob solving, I have truss
outputs for when mount worked, and after it stopped working )
just before running titan with Sample.Firewall, I ran it with
Sample.Server config file, mount still worked...
(Sample.firewall is attached below: entries in bold denote modules that
sample.Server does not run)
which Titan module is locking this out, (it should be one of the bold
entries below)
I am assuming that there is a module that prevents external
devices/media being mounted
(after all the Sample.Firewall script is intended for firewalls and you
would want to stop this)
I wish to make an exception for this device, as this is intended to be
a Mail Relay, and I need the cdrom occasionally for software updates
etc.....
