I am having problems getting my RSC card to send email events. No emails
ever show up.
Does anyone have their E250 RSC card sending email events working using
"rscadm send_event" command?
Also aftering updating the RSC with the latest software/firmware (2.2) it
still shows the old version while logged into the RSC using "version".
Below is what I get when executing "version" after following the 2.2 upgrade
procedures and resetting the RSC.
rsc> version
RSC Bootmon version: 1.3
RSC version: 1.14
To install the latest I followed the documentatin to the letter.
rscadm download /usr/platform/SUNW,Ultra-250/lib/images/rscfw (waited for
all the .... to end)
rsc-config (and then followed the prompts)
It then completed saying everything was successful and reset itself.
Any idea whats is going on? The documentation does not specify the "boot"
parameter in the "rscadm download". Is the "boot" subcommand required for
flashing new firmware?
