loopback interface weirdness.

Greetings Gurus,

I've got an odd problem. Actually stumped Sun on this one.

I've got a Netra T1 105 with 256m ram, basic config.

After a period of time, (roughly 12 hours) when a cronjob that needs a
users home is run, it comes back with an error basically stating that it
can't cd to the users home.

The users home is an automounted dir, but automounted from localhost.

The problem is that the localhost route is getting magically dropped. So
when the system needs to get to 127.0.0.1 it can't. When this happens, I
can't even ping 127.0.0.1

I can fix this by unplumbing and plumbing the interface back.

Has anyone else seen this type of behavior?

-Mark
