Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the Emulex cards attached to an EMC Clariion --
I've got about 10 that are performing wonderfully -- and one that is giving me errors like:
Oct 24 13:40:01 tursa lpfc: [ID 644038 kern.warning] WARNING: lpfc0:003:Device Discovery completion error Data: 2 0 0 0
the Emulex web page says "reboot -- then call customer support if it's still not working"
Just wondered if anyone had dealt with this kind of error before (I've a reboot scheduled for 7pm EDT tonight...)
If anyone knows how to remove the driver package, that would be nice too (yes, I know pkgrm, however it just hangs when it gets to the:
if [ -x /usr/sbin/disks ]
then
/usr/sbin/disks -C
fi
portion of the script (which is ironic since I was never able to get any disks connected in the first place.....)
