Dear sunmanagers,
We bought and installed about 4 months ago some F15K servers. Since they
are running we have had several (lots more than you should expect from
this type of high end servers) hardware problems. Lots of system boards
needed to be replaced due to uncorrectable memory problems and other
types of CPU or memory failures. We had in the past months lots of
crashes on our F15K servers and would like to know if we are the only
customer that has these type of problems on our F15K's.
Some more details:
Our domains go from 2 system boards to 5. Boxes are not full populated
(+/- 50 %). We run Solaris 8 release 02/02 + patches + JKP 108528-15.
