Hey all,
I find myself in need of a script that efficiently determines the
volatility of a filesystem (i.e. 10% has changed within a week, 30% in a
month, etc.) This will come in handy when I want to figure out the most
efficient backup schedule.
Now, I do know that find does this, but it takes an extraordinarily long
time when you have to find every file in a 200GB filesystem 4 or 5 times.
If you have a quickie script that does this, I would much much obliged
if you would share the booty.
