I'm trying to get an mail alias working for the first time.
A uncommented the AliasFile entry from sendmail.cf and I added an "A" to the
"F=" entry for the Mlocal line.
Mlocal, P=/usr/lib/mail.local, F=lsDFM5qfSmn9A,
S=EnvFromL/HdrFromL, R=EnvToL/HdrToL,
T=DNS/RFC822/X-Unix,
A=mail.local -d $u
Mprog, P=/bin/sh, F=lsDFMoqeu9, S=EnvFromL/HdrFromL,
R=EnvToL/HdrToL, D=$z:/,
T=X-Unix/X-Unix/X-Unix,
A=sh -c $u
I created two entries in /etc/mail/aliases and ran "newaliases" the command
returns good output:
/etc/mail/aliases: 5 aliases, longest 41 bytes, 137 bytes total
If I send to either alias (one is pager: 302201XXXX@archwireless.net), the
other is an include list, it seems to get deferred for reasons I don't
understand.
Here's the mailx command:

the output remains unchanged if I send to either mail alias.
I'm stuck. I'm unsure of the version of sendmail but the header on the
executable suggest 8.887

Using "sendmail -v -bv <distroname>" says the mail is deliverable.
