Hello Sunmanagers,
Has anyone had difficulty using Jumpstart with Sun-Fire 280R
machines?
I am using jumpstart with a DHCP server which is also the
boot/install server,
which holds images of Solaris 8 02/02. My 9 Netra T 1120's can
jumpstart just fine
but when I try the same process with the 280R the boot fails very
early on
with:
"Panic: Could not mount filesystem"
This is just after the TFTP phase is complete, just at the point
where the client
should be doing an NFS mount to boot the kernel.
I suspect the boot block which is generated with add_install_client
may be
the wrong architecture, but I have tried four different ones with
the same result.
Any help greatly appreciated.
