I need to generate detailed directory listings for hundreds of old dump
tapes.
In searching the net, I found lldump, linked below, which looks like
it does exactly what I need. Unfortunately, it was written for sunos in
the early 90's and needs some work to compile on solaris, or linux.
Is there a newer version that will work on solaris? Or is there
another tool to generate detailed directory listings from dump tapes?
If not, how much work would be involved in modifying the source
to compile on solaris? This looks live a very useful tool for any
sun sysadmin to have in the toolbox.
