disk striping with small or big slices

Hi,

probably an easy thing for you guys...

Given I have two 36G FC-disks and want to improve I/O performance (OLAP
System) by creating a striped volume (with Veritas VM).

Is there a difference in performance if a make a single (36G)-stripe on
each disk vs. two 18G-stripes or three 12G stripes per disk and then create
a striped volume out of this.

Anyhelp help would be appreciated.
