The way to change the date is setting the LANG environment variable
LANG="language"
export LANG
date

Obviously you need to have the support for the language, in /usr/lib/locale you
can see the languages you have in your system. If you dont have the languages,
you can install them from the installation discs of solaris.

The question was:
>i've problems with the command date, i want that it show me the days and
>months
>in spanish. I can't rebbot cuz the machine is in production and i guess that a
>script can't resolve the problem. the OS is solaris 8. Plz tell me if this
>problem can be resolved with environment variables and the way to do.
