Now we can see the LUNs with the original 2GB LSI cards. The missing
packages were at fault. Turns out that those were only the 64-bit
drivers for the disks (nothing important, you see ;-). Those packages
were not installed due to a bug in the Solaris default install routine.
  Shame on Sun.

Thanks again, and remember, it's all lun and games until someone loses
an inode.
