Hey everyone:
Got a ez one for ya. I'm waiting for a process to open a mailfile
(/bin/mailx) and its taking forever. Thats fine, but I'm watchin the server
with top and I'm seeing jumps in iowait percentage. It kinda goes from 0.2
to 12 to 36 to 48 to 25 to 30 etc...etc..etc. It seems to stay up there for
about 2/3 minutes then goes back down. I'm trying to figure out what process
or processes could be causing that, as I'm not entirely sure if it is always
doing this.
Any good binaries or scripts I can use to help hunt this down? Thanks
