HA solution

Hi,

I am looking at HA configurations for systems while needing to keep the
costs of the solution comparatively low. I am interested in people's
experiences of Sun Cluster, Veritas Cluster or similar (especially lower
cost software). Also peoples experiences of the Sun Fire 3800, 4800, 6800.

I am considering:

A) A single Sun Fire 3800 with two uniboards (memory/CPU boards),
redundant LAN, resilient disk arrays, etc.

B) A cluster of two V880 servers shared disk array (Sun Cluster, VCS or
...) with all the usual resilient features.

Which would be a more resilient system?
Which would I expect most reliable up time from?

The servers will run an Oracle Database. There will also be a standby
database at another site.

Thanks for your help,

Richard
