How to upgrade from Solaris 2.7 to Solaris 2.8

Hello System Administrators,
 
I am currently running Solaris 2.7 on a Sun Ultra 5. I just got a copy of
the Solaris 2.8 CDs. I previously upgraded from Solaris 2.6 to 2.7 and I
assumed the upgrade would be similar. I have no documentation. I booted
off the Solaris 2.8 CD and it wants to format my disk and install an
installed on it. I don't want to do a new install. How do I do an upgrade?
