Hi
I am trying to configure my NIS on solaris as slave.My gateway is Linux
boxand NIS server is running on Linux and there is another slave as linux
which is working fine as slave but when i tried to configure slave on solaris it gives me a problem.
Transferring netid.byname...
> (info) w8hd w8hd.org netid.byname ypxfrd getdbm failed (reason = -1) --
> using ypxfr
My ypxfrd is running on server.
and how do I check if my portmapper is running on solaris.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
