Hi,
Touched on this one before but never come across a
solution. Situation is thus:
Application server running VCS. Primary IP is on qfe0.
On top of this we have an application package address
and the VCS admin address ie from ifconfig you would
see:
qfe0 blah.242.74
qfe0:1 blah.242.82 floating app IP address
qfe0:2 blah.242.84 VCS admin IP address
The application is sending traffic to a remote server with
address of blah.245.100. What we see is that outbound
to the remote server tends to leave via 242.84. Ideally
we want all comms to be via 242.82.
How do I force the traffic to use the interface I want it to?
