Hi all,

I have seen this question asked a number of times on this list and other
newsgroups, but i still can not find an appropriate answer.

How do i find out what the kernel is doing?

The server got into this state at 2pm yesterday and has remained this
way.
The machine is an ultra-2 running 2.5.1
5.5.1 Generic_103640-20 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-2

I can see no processes which would be causing this,
It's not NFS as has been suggested previously
It's not page faults either.

Is my only option a reboot here?
