Hello,

sorry for a mistake. The OBP Command includes "r" for resolution. So
the correct command (and what I've really done) is:
setenv output-device screen:r1024x768x70

And yes, I've checked the suported resolutions for the pgx (I've even
tried the different refresh rates)

TIA, Dirk.

Hello,

this drives me crazy. I try to configure the screen console resolution
on a ultra 5. For the monitor I need a resolution of 1024x768.
With the m64config command I could setup the resolution within the X
environment. This works well. But one system will work without any
graphical support. So I need the console to work under this resolution.
The m64config command doesn't change anything in the console mode.
I've set in OBP:
setenv output-device screen:1024x768x70

But this doesn't change anything. The system stills come up with the sun
default of 1152x900x66. I've reset and reboot -r. No changes at all.

Any idea at all ??

TIA, Dirk.
