Problems patching sun Blade 1000

Dear list members,

we recently bought a Blade 1000. The preinstalled Solaris 8 has the kernel patch
111433-02 installed, which is needed for Blades if the patch 108528-08 or older
is installed. That is the case.

Since the machine runs quite unstable --- spontaneous reboots after idle periods
--- I decided to get the newest revision of 108528. Unfortunately, I can't
install it, because 111433-02 has to be backed out, but a patchrm just produces
the following error message:

Patch 111433-02 was installed without backing up the original
files. It cannot be backed out.

So the question is: what do I do now? Is it safe to force the installation of
108528? Or do I have to reinstall the whole OS? Is there a way to remove the
files of 111433-02 manually?

thanks in advance, regards, Levent
