Dear Sun Managers,

I've a downloaded file that is more than 2G size and
I'm unable to view it.

# ls -l

-rw-rw-rw- 1 1234 staff 2772302988 Sep 9 2002
Mus

# file Mus
Mus: ascii text

When I tried to vi this file, it is giving me

Mus Value too large for defined data type

I couldn't use dtpad or any other editor to view this
file also. I've tried this on a Solaris 7 and 8
machine and is giving me the same result.

The strings command also giving me value too large for
defined data type.
# strings Mus
Mus: Value too large for defined data type

Can someone shed a light on this what could be the
problem? Any other editor can resolve this problem?

TIA.

Regards,
Tim
