   Hi All,

We have a SUN E6500 server with 8 cpus of 336 Mhz and 8 GB
ram
We are going to upgrade this machine with 22 no of cpus of 464 Mhz and 40
Gb ram.
We are also going to replace the clock board.

Can any of you tell me what care has to be taken while changing the clock
board

This is what I feel

1) Shutdown the system and power off
2) Remove the old existing clock board
3) Remove the TOD/NVRAM chip from U0205 slot
4) Replace this chip in the new clock board
5) Plug in the new clock board and power on the system

6) at the OK prompt give

OK> 1 copy--io-board-tod-to-clock-tod ## My i/o boards are in
slot 1 and 3

Now can I boot the system...Is there any thing else to be done.....

Thanks and Regards
  K.JANAKIRAMAN
