I'll summarize the problem first (just a copy/paste from my previous mail :-) ):
Apache version 1.3.26
Mysql version 3.23.51
Php version 4.2.2
Solaris 2.6 on a Sun Ultra1
When I make an apachectl configtest, apache send me this error:
Syntax error on line 205 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server:
ld.so.1: /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so: symbol ap_block_alarms: referenced
symbol not found
The problem was solved by compiling apache with these options:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-module=so --enable-shared=max --enable-rule=SHARED_CORE
Everything is ok now, Php4 runs successfully.
