Hello managers,
I am trying to use vxfs snapshot backup for clearcase .
I mount all the vobs
/usr/atria/bin/cleartool setview -exec "/usr/atria/bin/cleartool mount -a
;" backup_view
I lock the vob record lock time
/usr/atria/bin/cleartool setview -exec "/usr/atria/bin/cleartool
lock vob:/software/switch/training ;/usr/bin/date '+%a%b%e%T%Z%Y'"
backup_view >> /tmp/test_mssrv2lock.log 2>&1
I take the snapshot of the file system
/usr/sbin/mount -F vxfs -o snapof=/ipcorevobs,
/dev/vx/dsk/ipcorevobs/snapvol /snap
sleep 2
I unlock the vob
/usr/atria/bin/cleartool setview -exec "/usr/atria/bin/cleartool unlock
vob:/software/switch/training ;/usr/bin/date '+%a%b%e%T%Z%Y'"
backup_view >> /tmp/test_mssrv2lock.log 2>&1
sleep 2
fi
we take /snap/traning.vbs backup using veritas netbackup.
But still when i restore the vob it gives clearcase vob error.
Kindly help me .
We use veritas net backup for this purpose , the script above is per backup
script
P.S: traning vob is created for test purpose it's tag is training but
storage is traning.
