Command Execution Differences with Cron in Solaris 2.6 vs 2.8 (8)?

Gurus,

For some strange reason I have some scripts which when executed from
cron don't work as they do when executed from the command line. I
understand that cron doesn't automatically inherit the environment
variables of its' user and in all of my scripts I make sure that all
environment variables are correctly loaded. I have double checked this
by writing the environment variables to the log file of the program that
isn't executing correctly in cron. At least I know that the environment
variables are correct. All of these scripts used to work perfectly
under Solaris 2.6 (6) running on an Enterprise 250. All I have done is
migrate the application from that server to a V880 running Solaris 8.
Some cron jobs continue to work without any problem. Are there any
glaring differences between cron running under Solaris 6 and Solaris 8
that I should know about? I have searched the list archives, the Sun
site, and the general web for info and can't seem to find any other than
seeing that others have had similar problems. Unfortunately, nobody has
posted a summary of how the problem was fixed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will Summarize.

- James
