Hello,

I tried to install SAMBA Server on Solaris 8 ,i
download samba-latest.tar.gz at www.samba.org and
install gzip package on solaris ,but when used
command:

#gunzip samba-latest.tar.gz

Recive Message :

invalid compressed data--crc error

Does anyone have any idea why this errors ocurre?
