patch snafu?

I downloaded the latest recommended patch for Solaris 8 x86 and noticed
that the size increased drastically. The previous patch was around 39M
and now it's 109M. There are that many bugs discovered within a week or
a snafu at Sun's patch site/center?

Throughout the patch archive, notice how the x86 patch file is always
smaller in size than the sparc version? (except the recent/8 patch)
