Dear managers,
we are working in large environment with some installservers.
Various admins are responsible for the different installservers,
therefore are some IPs wrong.
I am trying to install a server within our network thru an installserver,
but one installserver provides an IP address that is allready in use by
another server,
to avoid this I need to correct the configuration on this installserver but
since
we have lots of them, I need to know which one provides the wrong address.
Q. How can I find out, without having a running system on that machine,
which installserver provides the wrong IP address?
I think this is an arp question, but it is not clear to me how to proceed.
Yours sincerely,
Ramiro Santos
