280R, 2 GB RAM, Solaris 8 and PostGres SQL 6.5... data is stored in FC
stripegroup (8 columns. very fast filesystem..). After the DB grew to about
10G... the server just freezes on DB startup, no messages whatsoever... All
we have to to do then is break to OBP and reboot.. Boxenis fully patched....
IPC settings and SHM are as suggested...
Is there a DB size limitation on PostGres SQL.... AS our DB is programmed to
grow well over 100GB... has anyone out there used Progres SQL for such large
DB implementations successfully? Thanks.
