Fellow SunManagers,
I have two V880's in which the eri refuses to autonegotiate, or
negotiate at all, at any speed over 10 half. I've seen this problem before
with an early Solaris 9 beta and an Allied Telesyn switch, but never with a
production-grade setup. We're using Solaris 8 10/01. The switch is a
Nortel BayStack 420.
I have tried manually locking the ports on both switch & server
to 100 fdx, 100hdx, 10fdx, no dice. Only 10hdx works.
Has anyone run into this problem?
