How to make sendmail on solaris 8 to always send to a smart host

hi,
 
i think i will probably find some help here.
i have a sun solaris 8 with Sendmail 8.10.2+Sun/8.10.2
This host is not configured with DNS
 
i want all the mail send by command line with mailx or mail
go to a smart host
i dont want start the Daemon, i just want to use Senmail as MUA.
 
i set DS,DH,DR is my cf but this doesnt work
 
someone can give me a direction/solution
