Hello:
My apologies for posting a question which my not be 100% Solaris related
but I'm trying to get an answer to this.
I'm new to CVS and doing my best to get it running under Solaris 2.6 and I
downloaded the Instructions on how to set it up
Right now I'm Testing the installation by local users and when I
try to log into CVS with the Command: cvs login
this is what's happening:
cvsdev1@machine4:#cvs login
(Logging in to cvsdev1@machine4)
CVS password:
cvs login: authorization failed: server machine4 rejected access to
/home1/cvs/repository for user cvsdev1
cvsdev1@machine4:#
I'm entering the password for user "cvs" and it does not allow me to go in,
also entering passwd for "root" user
on machine and samething is not allowing me to get in finally I enter
password for user "cvsdev1" and still
same result, in other word, no matter what I enter I can not get in.
Can someone please help on this, I was doing very well until I got to this
point by now I had spent almost half a day
trying to figure this out and can not get it going -I must be missing
something- but no sure what it's.
