Hello,
I would like some input from people who have used Resource Manager. I
understand from initial readings that this can only be used on
applications/users with a valid UID, correct? The reason I ask is we have
various monitoring applications that write to log files, for this reason it
has to be run as root. I would like Resource Manager to limit the amount of
CPU it uses for this specific application. How can this be done without
limiting all of root's processes, is it possible?
