Free Veritas license with A5000 Photon ?

Hi;

  I just got my hands on an A5000 Photon and was
told that this product comes with veritas or rather
when you install veritas and it detects the Sun storage
it does not ask for a license. Is there any truth to any
of this? Iv you get veritas for free when you bought the product
I guess your stuck paying for service to get soft updates..?
