dump on swap device

i have a sunfire v100 w/ solaris8 and the latest
patches. for some reason or another, not sure why
yet, there is a dump on the swap device, at least this
is what my log file says, "dump on /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s1"
on boot up.

this dump isn't saved to /var/crash/$(hostname) on
boot up, and doing a "savecore -v" once i'm in
multiuser mode says "dump already processed." the
message described above is always logged on boot up.

any ideas on what to do w/ the supposable dump on my
swap device?
