I have currently 22 processes under "w" when if run a vmstat 5. If these are
runable but swapped how come they and hanging around??? I looked for
<defunct> processes and found none and I cleared up all the print jobs as
well. I want to get rid of these processes if possible. I am running
Solaris 2.6 on a E5500. Here is my vmstat 5 output

# vmstat 5
